A lot of you have had a challenging 2022. I look at it as the COVID recovery year and getting us to a state of wellbeing. We all had our ups and downs and somehow found our way to balance and peace. What I’m hearing from my clients is their health issues are becoming a priority to resolve. Never before had I heard from this group that they are adding exercise on a regular basis, not just the weekend sprint. They are watching the calories and opting for organic and more a modified plant based diet. I also hear a lot, that my clients focus on meditation and taking time off.
People are starting to see the difference in their bodies and can relate to healthier choices. Moms are packing their kids snacks of fruits and veggies instead of the chips and cookies.
We are as a race starting to veer to the healthy choices. A wonderful change that is brought on by lots of research and awareness in the health and wellness industry.
Healthy on weekends only is no longer the effective results we want for our bodies. You notice supermarket isles and products are shifting their choices to healthy options, thanks to the consumers asking for this change. We certainly have changed in the last few years.
Now that healthy choices are becoming our lifestyle, what are you going to do with that extra energy?
We all have work and family obligations, and that is part of our life and what we have gotten organized via trial and error. It is an ongoing fine tuning process but we got it.
I would like to suggest for 2023 you:
– Be aware of your soul’s journey; nurture your true self. If you look back at your life and remember the times you went out of your way to help others, how often was it? How did it feel?
When is the last time you took time for yourself to sort out your feelings and thoughts to get you to a better place.
– Give back to the earth that sustains you; plant an herb or vegetable garden. We are what we eat! Try a plant based diet a day a week and then increase to two days … etc. be aware of your energy level and how you feel. Make it simple and easy. – Get involved in your community; give to Charity projects. Community is vital for support, nurture yours. Reach out to friends or family that have always been there for you and will continue to be there. Nurturing relationships that are meaningful. We all need that and letting them know how much you appreciate them is a bonding that is vital.
As we begin a new year with lots of renewed hope and energy, let your resolutions reflect what you really want. Set yourself up for success rather than failure. Small changes in lifestyle make big results down the line. The Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said:
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”.
Wishing you a wonderful 2023! May you have amazing health, vision and clarity on all your endeavors. To support the healing process, we have a great sale for the next few days on all our products. Enjoy them!
