For centuries, the ancient cultures of the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Mayans, Hindus, and Buddhists have used the healing powers of flowers and herbs in ways to rejuvenate and restore the body, mind, and soul in a natural, non-invasive way.  Today, some of these remedies are still used, but for the most part, many people are not aware of these healing and cost-effective benefits.  Herbal tea is known for its health-boosting properties. The benefits of tea largely depend on the nutrients found in the plant’s composition. Infusions come from flowers, spices, herbs, pods, or roots which give a variety of flavor, tastes, and nourishment.  Creating herbal tea is the perfect way to build a beneficial relationship with plants.

We are excited to bring you a new Flowers and Nature Workshop which is designed for everyone from the novice, to individuals with some knowledge and experience working with herbs, as well as health and wellness practitioners who would like to add skills or services to their practice.

This workshop is an overview of what we can use from nature.  We will also discuss how it can help us in our current life by focusing on de-stressing and keeping a wellness glow about us. I will give various approaches to wellness using herbs, essential oils, hydrosols, and flower essences.  We also have some family recipes to share.  My grandmother was an amazing herbalist and she had the skin of a baby!

Are you enchanted by the nourishing power of Mother Nature?  Then you will love this workshop!  We will delve into these safe, healing remedies that help reduce ailments like pain and stress, facilitate more energy, and promote general well-being and balance.  It will uplift and help you connect to nature and the amazing flowers, plants, and herbs right here in our own environment.

This class is a general overview of the plant and flower kingdoms, we will also share a couple of recipes to get you started on your way.
