Personally, I start my day off with my morning meditation to set my intentions for the day. Our morning rituals are the most important part of our day. It’s the beginning of how each day starts and the pattern of how our day will progress simply by how we start it each morning.
By giving yourself the time to do the things that are important for you to prepare for your day you give yourself a sense of confidence to accomplish much. I realize that not all days are created equally and can many times take turns that were quite unexpected, but if you set up your mindset for a successful day most likely these unexpected ventures will only prove to be challenges to overcome with confidence.
If you are an avid reader of self-help books, then you’ve most likely read how successful people have a morning ritual they follow every day for a successful life.
- Many journal and write affirmations
- Some do breathing exercises followed up with a brisk walk
- Others may write out their goals and tasks for the day
Whatever the mantra, ritual or regimen it’s important to spend the first few minutes of your day to prepare you for the whole day. Besides the usual norms of showering, eating breakfast and brushing your teeth, it’s important to have a morning routine in place as this will help to ease you into your day. No matter the challenges that may come your way, you will have the confidence to tackle them.
I recommend you come up with a good morning routine that works for you, even if that means you may have to get up a bit early. It will be well worth the effort as you fall into your morning ritual for another successful day. Also, remember challenges are simply there to strengthen your resolve and thinking capabilities, not to punish you. By sticking to a morning plan, you set yourself up for a much smoother day.
Here’s to your morning ritual for success.
Many blessings,
